Comic Life – Turn Your Photos into A Fun Comic Book
Digital cameras are everywhere nowadays. Everyone has a small, portable digital camera that can be used to snap photos whenever and wherever. And if people do not have a digital camera, they have mobile phones and nowadays, even low-spec mobile phones have a digital camera that can be used to capture moments in time.
One question comes to mind: what do you do with all the pictures? Do you let them accumulate and 'gather dust' so to speak in a folder somewhere? Or do you use them to come up with something fun? As long as you have the right piece of software by your side, you could always use those pictures to come up with something quite fun.
One such application is Comic Life. So, what can you do with this application? As its name so adequately points out, you can use it to come up with fun comics. But that’s not all this application does. You can also use it to create beautiful picture albums, edit your images with filters and export your creation as HTML, JPEG, TIFF and PNG files.
The program is very easy to install and requires low system resources and little hard disk space. It can also run on most versions of Microsoft Windows.
The interface is very easy to use and intuitive. Comic Life features many different types of comics layouts. All the user has to do is to add his preferred images into the layouts, together with balloons containing text and that's it. He can optionally add different effects to each photo. At this point, Comic Life allows saving the user's creation in various formats, like HTML or image and can also send the comic directly through email.
Pros:
It's very easy to use and it allows the user to drag and drop images. It also includes a library of templates, styles and fonts and image filters. Besides that, it can capture images using the webcam.
Cons:
The options may be considered too simple by advanced users.
Comic Life is the perfect program for creating superb comics using the user's photos.
